I started Stars Counseling in order to provide our community with a safe, comfortable option for individual and group mental health care. Seeking help can be very intimidating, especially if you have suffered from trauma or had painful past experiences. Here at Stars Counseling you are offered a safe, comfortable space to be taken care of and listened to without judgment and without barriers. My approach to consultation is grounded in Critical Race Theory, which takes into account the unique needs and concerns of people of color.
